Sports
The students are divided into 4 teams (houses) namely Alagappa, Bharathi, Gandhi and Nehru to develop a total personality, team work and leadership qualities. The School conducts inter-house sports competitions and the rolling shield is awarded at the end of the year to the best house.
Regular games are held from 3.10 to 4.00 p.m. on days specified for each class from standard VI upwards under the supervision of qualified physical training instructors. Attendance is compulsory. All track and field events are also encouraged and will culminate in the annual Sports day event.
Medical Check-up
The school conducts a medical inspection. Follow up action is expected of the parents immediately on receipt of the doctor's advice or comments, which are sent to them. |
