ALAGAPPA MATRICULATION HIGHER SECONDARY SCHOOL

Dr.(Mrs) Umayal Ramanathan founded the Alagappa Matriculation School in 1985 to enable the students of the Primary school to pursue their studies in the same place. Starting with a modest strength of 60 students in Std VI the school has now developed into a Higher Secondary School with over 2000 children. The school so far has sent 12 sets of X and 10 sets of XII Standard students for the Board Examinations. The school has been performing creditably in all these years winning district awards and state awards.

Objectives
Inspired by the able and kind guidance of the Correspondent, the institution strives hard to instill value-based education in the minds of the children. We equip them with all modern facilities to pursue their interest in various fields and come out with flying colours. We leave no stone unturned to transform them into able and responsible citizens of the country to serve the society in the best possible manner.
