In 2002 the Alagappa Schools introduced a new dimension in educating and caring for toddlers. The Umayal Play School and Day care center was founded to provide a friendly atmosphere for toddlers, a home away from home, to nurture good habits
and develop skill sets through the use of play techniques. As pioneers in the field of early childhood education we strongly believe that children form a strong intellectual foundation through play.
